I know, I know.
Have been MIA from my blog for a long time as I was resting and seeking the Lord for new direction in my life. No worries, zapped depression out from my life, had an amazing breakthru in my marriage after attending the marriage breakthru weekend with my hubby two weeks ago and enjoying being a housewife at home during this June Holiday. Thank God for this break.
The marriage breakthru weekend at Batam was amazing. 60 pairs of couples both elderly and the young attended this breakthru. Though it was just merely three days but God broke us down one by one, dealing with each individual pressing issues that we faced in our marriages and in our lives. Our small group was so opened in their sharing and allowed our vulnerabilities to surface without fearing judgement from people. We were thankful.
It was also a time of healing and reconciliation with our partners whereby we seek forgiveness and prayed for each other. We learnt our roles as wife and husband once again, love languages and even the characteristics of man and woman and came to understand how God has created us differently and how we can communicate with each other more effectively thru these differences.
Yeah, you may say that aren't these things we always learn in church and in the bible. Yup, but we have been dealing the issues with our strength and not allowing God to dwell and deal with us. The three days were times of total surrendering to God, total confession of our sins and a total spiritual refeshment with both our partners and God.
I am still seeking for God's direction in my life and somehow through prayers, God has directed me to Tung Ling Bible college to take up a 3 months course on School of Ministry. More info here
Hubby is so nice to sponser me this course since I am jobless. Thanks dear! After this course, I will be praying for God's divine appointment in my life...Who knows, full time ministry? Wait and see! Feeling excited and can't wait to start school!
